Getting A cARD

At this time, online library card registration is unavailable. Please stop in at the library during business hours to register for a card. Bring proof of residency or photo identification. The library offers a full range of free public library services to all residents.

Loans

Books

Book loans may be done in person, online, or by telephone. A standard checkout period of two weeks is allowed. Most printed materials may be renewed up to two times as long as no one else is waiting. Renewals can be done in person, by phone, or online. Extended loan periods are available, and an item on hold list cannot be renewed. A fine of $0.25 per day is charged for overdue materials. Best seller books charge $1.00 per week and payment is due upon return.

 Visual Media

Visual media loans may be done in person, online, or by telephone. A standard checkout period of one week is allowed with no renewals. A fine of $0.25 per day is charged for overdue materials.

Hot Spots

The Library has a Hotspot available to borrow for a 2 week checkout period with no renewal. Borrowers are required to adhere to the user policy while borrowing. There is an overdue fee of $5 a day. Failure to return after 10 days past the due date incurs a full replacement charge of $300 plus a $50 late fee. The hotspot must be returned to the on duty desk staff. Any hotspot placed in the bookdrop will incur a fine of $25. 

Tablets

The Library has a Kindle Fire available to borrow for a 2 week checkout period with no renewal. Borrowers are required to adhere to the user policy.  There is an overdue fee of $5 per day with a maximum of $25. Failure to return after 15 days incurs a $105 replacement plus a $25 late fee. The tablet must be returned to the circulation desk staff. A tablet placed in the bookdrop will incur a fine of $25.
